Quality, subtitles and audio

Picture quality follows the source. Recent seasons are usually in 4K or HD; older runs are in the quality they were broadcast in.

  • 4K and HDMost recent titles in 4K or Full HD. For 4K, allow around 25 Mbps per simultaneous stream.
  • SubtitlesEnglish subtitles are available on a large part of the library and toggle on and off in the player. Not every title carries every language.
  • Audio tracksWhere more than one language exists, you can switch track while watching. A dubbed track is not always present.
  • SoundStereo as standard, surround where the source provides it.
Devices

How many devices at once?

Two things get confused: how many devices you install on, and how many streams may run at the same time. Install on as many devices as you like. A film downstairs while someone watches a series upstairs is two simultaneous streams.

  • Connection speedAround 15 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps or more for 4K, per simultaneous stream. Wired is steadier than wifi.
